Book Class

Tuesday ~ Power Vinyasa Flow

5:30 - 6:45 PM PST

The Power Vinyasa Flow practice is based on the teachings of Baron Baptiste, author of the best-selling book, Journey Into Power. This invigorating practice supports you to raise your vitality and access accelerated results in your overall body strength and confidence. This class is suitable for all levels of mobile practitioners, from raw beginner to advanced.

Book Class

Wednesday ~ Healing Flow

12:00 - 1:00 PM PST

The focus of Healing Flow is on creating space for natural healing of the body and the whole self through moving energy, strengthening the core, improving balance, and releasing tension. Movements will be paced with the breath to start, with longer holds toward the end to lengthen tight muscles, nourish connective tissue and provide deep mental relaxation.

More modifications are offered than in Power Vinyasa classes, and holds are shorter than in Evoke Energy Yin classes. This class is accessible to all levels of physical conditioning and experience, and ideal for beginners, athletes, seniors, and pre and post-natal students.

Book Class

Wednesday ~ Evoke Energy Yin Yoga

2:00 - 3:00 PM PST

Yin yoga, known as the quiet yoga, is a slow and cozy practice. This discovery-based practice is accessible to all backgrounds and body types. It teaches you to relax, connect, and accept the present moment. Postures are practiced on the floor, and each shape is held for 3-10 minutes.

Many of the most popular forms of yoga are fundamentally “yang” in nature, based on rhythmic movement of the muscle. Yin yoga, in contrast, tones and nourishes connective tissue (fascia, joints, ligaments and tendons) which can in turn enhance our range of motion and overall physical well-being.

Midway through the class we transition to Yoga Nidra. Your job is to lay still on the floor or in your bed during this guided meditation which includes a body scan and visualization. Half an hour of Nidra, translated as yogic sleep, is equal to two hours of REM sleep. When studied, individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and PTSD reported a greater sense of well being after this practice.

Book Class

Friday ~ Vin/Yin

2:00 - 3:00 PM PST

This class combines Power Vinyasa Flow with the benefits of Yin postures. A favorite of many, this class is the best of both worlds.
